Three members of the yellas headed North to participate in the Cioch Mhor hill race – Simon Dobbs, Linda Smith and myself.  This is a challenging 14k romp up and down hills (obviously) with an interesting river crossing in the middle. Today, in gorgeous weather, Inverness Harriers hosted this race with possibly a record turn out of runners.  The race started near Queen’s Park Athletic Stadium followed the Great Glen Way then wound through some new housing developments before meandering gradually up to the summit of Craig Dunain. This was the first event of its kind in Scotland organised by No Fuss Events. The race started and finished in Cameron Square with a rolling start between 8.30am to 10.30am. 8 timed stages with unique character totalling 11K of great trails, 7 Liaison stages between timed stages that allow recovery – 100m – 750m
