The Sair Heidie Run is back again for 1st January 2024 , so come along and start your January detox at the Sair Heidie run!
When : New Years Day 11am start for runners, 10.20 am start for walkers, registration from 10.15 am in the Episcopal Church Hall.
Where : Start and finish outside the Episcopal Church Hall, registration inside the hall.
What : An approximately 4.8 mile run/ walk from Buckie out to Strathlene and back through Rathven. Part of the old Buckie 10km route in reverse.
Cost : £5 entry fee , raffle available at £1 per strip.
All proceeds will be donated to Buckie Salvation Army’s Food Larder.
Prizes for 1st Male and Female runners home . All raffle donations will be gratefully received, together with donations for additional prizes to increase the prize list. Enjoy a fly cup and a piece when you finish, again any donations of food on the day would be most welcome. Age 16+ only due to the run being held on open roads, all runners participate at their own risk. Any help on the day would be appreciated eg help at registration, a “ lead bike” to guide the runners. Sair Heidie has been going for over 20 years, please support us in this traditional Buckie event. Come along and blow away those sair heids!
