There were over 4,000 runners taking part in this years Baker Hughes 10k.
The first 3k we had a strong headwind in and around the harbour area, then onto the beach boulevard and wow the wind was on our back, this pushed us along at a fair pace, however the last 2k again there was a strong headwind and finally not forgetting the hill to the finish.
It’s been 2yrs since I’ve done this race, however I fair enjoyed it.
I think I was the only MRR running and finished in a time of 47min 14sec i think!!!! not bad for having a slight hangover. Full results here.
