British and Irish Masters X-Country International
Gareth Jenkins represented Scotland at this year’s British and Irish Masters X-Country International in Bute Park, Cardiff, which, unlike local X-Country races, was extremely flat and fast (parkland and trails) with good conditions underfoot. Competing against England, Wales, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, each team has a maximum of 6 runners with the 1st four runners to score and Gareth finished as 3rd scorer for the V40 Scotland team helping them secure 3rd place in a highly competitive category.
