Craig Dunain Hill Race 22/03/2014

On Saturday, 6 Moray Roadrunners took on the Craig Dunain hill race. The weather was sunny and dry, though a cold breeze prevented anyone over heating as they ran to the top of Craig Dunain.

The course starts down at the canal on a tarmac footpath then onto good dirt paths up past the old hospital. The final stage of the climb is on forest tracks, which were a bit more muddier than previous years. On reaching the top it was a case of retracing the route back to the finish.

First home for MRR was Paul Taylor, followed closely by Colin Green, then Steven Morrison, John Paul Downey, Keith McArthur and Jenni Coelho. A record field enjoyed the great wee race and the brilliant hospitality afterwards. See the pictures on the pictures tab and the results will be posted when they are received.
