Elgin 10km 30/03/2014
Warm conditions welcomed the 195 participants to this year’s Moray Roadrunners 10k, race number 2 in the Northern Scot series.
Graham Bee (Inverness Harriers) was the winner in 33.11 with team-mate, Jenny Bannerman winning the Ladies Race in 36.44.
Kenny Wilson was first MRR home and 5th overall in 34.27 with Steve Reeve claiming 3rd V40 in 36.24.
First MRR lady home was Michelle Slater in 47.09.
The 3k Fun Run attracted 70 runners and was won by Ben Cameron (Forres Harriers) closely followed by MRRs’ Morgan Lewis and Blair Milne. Grace Whelan and Megan Smith made it a 1-2 for MRR in the Girls Race.
Well done to all the other MRRs who took part across both races. It really was great to see so many yellow vests on show.
