This new Half Marathon is run to raise funds for SSAFA and it start from the gates of RAF Lossiemouth and ends at the gates of RAF Lossiemouth.
The route heads onto the cycle path, then turns right towards Duffus, once through Duffus, you turn right and you are on the road back to Lossiemouth, the route ends with a run round Lossie town.
This is where you could get some sprint training in as you avoid the swooping seagulls.

It was a small field, this being the first race, with only 38 runners, there was a good turnout of MRRs, including some that had run the Forres Highland Games 10km the day before. Even though the weather had initially forecast for rain, it was beautiful sun for the whole race.
Steve Reeve took first place, with Colin Green coming in second, an excellent result for MRRs
The race results and pictures are available on the Lossiethon website and the MRR website.
Well done to all who competed.
