On Saturday 7th June both Ally Campbell and Colin Green travelled through to Dingwall for the Wade Trail Race.
Once registered,all the runners (about 30 of them) were transported by bus to the Silver Bridge, north of Garve.
The 14 mile trail race started and finished in glorious sunshine.
The first mile is along a small river before crossing over the Wade bridge undulating forestry track. This was the first time this race had been held and the is very scenic.
Ally came in a very good third place. Colin dropped from 4th to about 8th after going off course twice, adding over a mile.
Both Ally and Colin really enjoyed the race and will be back next year.
A very big well done to Dingwall Rotary Club for organising the race.
