This weekend MRRs have collected quite a few medals, trophies and pbs, it has been a good weekend for us and I have listed the achievements below as I find them
5km Champs – 06/05/2016
A really good result here with Kenny finishing 12th with a PB and Gareth finishing 2nd in his age category
U17 Scottish Hill Running Champion – 07/05/2016
News in that Grace Whelan is the new U17 Scottish Hill Running Champion, securing selection for the International Youth Cup in the Czech Republic next month. Younger sister, Niamh, also medalled at the Champs at Ben Lomond today picking up bronze in the U15 race. Go Team Whelan!!
Open Graded Meeting – 07/05/2016
This was held at Knockando and the long jump resulted in 6 PB’s for Archie Bain, Mica McCloud and Katie Walker (U11) Cian Jones (U13) and Sam Anderson and Tom Jenkins (U17)
Benromach 10km – 07/05/2016
This is the last 10km in The Northern Scot series, it is also the race when the overall winners are announced and the ND Champs are
presented as well. MRRs managed to gain a fair share of prizes. We had a total of 19 yella vests running. The weather was dry but there was a headwind on the way out which made it a bit harder. The results for team yella are as follows:

Barbara Bowie – 2nd F60
Steve Reeve – 2nd M50
George Sim – 1st M60
We also picked up the Mens Team prize, with Kenny Wilson, Colin Green, Steve Reeve and Stephen Carmichael
