There was a good turnout of MRRs for this event with 1 MRR in the HM and 7 MRR in the 10km event. These races are held to raise funds for The Speyside Trust Badaguish Centre.
It is a well organised event with registration in the MacDonald Centre and then buses to the start at Badaguish. Spud the piper was there to pipe us to the start after the HM runners had set off. This route is predominantly downhill and so lends itself to a fast time. The weather conditions were perfect with it being cool and very little wind.
Ashleigh Dean was first in for MRR and was 4th lady in her category, she was followed in by Dave Mathers (5th in his category), Robert Bruce (9th in his category), Karen Norvell (12th in category), Sally Bruce (18th in category) and Karene Ferriers (87th in category) Kirsty Weir ( 96th in category)
Also running was Faye Mallen, an ex-member of the club, it was good to see Faye back running and also getting a sun 60 minute 10km.
Toks Osunrinade was the only MRR doing the HM and finished 114th in his category.
All in all a good race, well organised and one worth doing again.
