There was a good showing of yellow vests at this, the final 10km of The Northern Scot Series. A total of 23 MRRs’ were running with a total field of 167 runners, an excellent showing and what turned out to be a good collection of prizes as well.
It was a good day for the race, the weather was overcast, with a slight breeze and some rain. The course is flat and fast.
MRR took 3 of the top 5 places
1st Kenny Wilson – 32:30
2nd Cameron Main – 34:21
4th Scott Cassidy – 34:52
Elspeth Jenkins took 4th Lady. We also took the Male Team Prize. Barbara took 1st in the F60 Category, with Sarah Houston F50 and Karen Norvell F40 also taking prizes in their categories.
Colin Green placed in the M40 category and overall in the league series.
Kenny Wilson took the Northern Scott Series prize.
