It was a chilly, wet start to the day for the Dufftown Santa run. After grabbing our Santa and elf hats we made our way to the British Legion club for registering.
A small field of 75 runners made their way to the start on the outskirts of town, The 4 MRR’s were Fiona and Douglas Hamilton, Helen Low and Claire Reilly.
The course started with a short hill then evened out to a downhill section along paths and some roads for the next 2 miles.
The final mile had a short uphill followed by some twists and turns along slippery roads to the finish.
A warm welcome of tea and shortbread awaited us, along with a medal.
This was a fun race with a mixed field of fun runners and children.
There was even a Minion, who actually finished first!
