This is a race that I have ran every year since it started, 6 so far. Today we had a good turnout of MRRs with a total of 8 runners from the club.
This race starts at The Glenlivet Distillery and follows an anti-clockwise route, initially it is a fast downhill at the start and then you reach, the steady incline, which goes on for about 2km, this is a steady climb up until you are above the distillery after that the road is flat, undulating with some good downhill sections. The weather today was dry with some wind, but overall good conditions for this race.
Everyone finished this race and the times are as follows:
|
Nigel Williams |
43:11 |
|
Dave Mathers |
44:55 |
|
Michelle Donaldson – Slater |
45:59 |
|
Robert Bruce |
46:26 |
|
Karen Norvell |
50:05 |
|
Toks Osunrinade |
54:11 |
|
David Ingleby |
54:17 |
|
Jenni Coelho |
1:03:25 |

This is a well supported race with 510 runners. I would thoroughly recommend that anyone tries this race, it is in a lovely setting, the venue is nice and there are nice views once you conquer the steady incline.
