Despite the strong gusting winds, the athletes at the track had a good meeting.
There were 2 club records for Kenny wilson, SM 3000m and Kyle Wilkinson u13 with Archie Bain equalling the u11 High Jump record.
Kyle smashed the league record for Long Jump and soared to No1 in the age rankings,
unfortunately due to the gusting winds these may not count, we
will have to wait.
The u13s distinguished themselves by finishing 1A & B for every event. Quite outstanding and a force to be reckoned with in the final.
There were a number of PBs despite the conditions for Romilly, Milly, Connie, georgie, Archie, Lewis, Kyle, Morgan and Kenny. Awaiting confirmation of those age groups to go to the final on Sunday 11th September but I think it is all groups except the u11 boys.
