Sunday 22nd January saw the second open indoor meet at Aberdeen Sports Village. This went well for MRR athletes. In the SM Darrin Cameron was just outside his PB at the 60m and took a club record in triple jump of 10.59m. Gary Sweeney threw a little below his best at shot putt but showed good form ready for next week’s Indoor Championships.
Kyle Wilkinson in the U15 age group smashed his long jump PB with a magnificent 5.40m taking his own club record from the first meeting.
Tamsin Fowlie improved her 60m PB and equalled her LJ PB.
Next week is the SM Scottish indoor Championships and early February sees the different Indoor Age group championships. The February open meet in Aberdeen is Sunday 26th.
