Whilst the Cross Country has drawn to a close the indoor track & field section is still functioning.
Over the Winter the ‘fast twitch’ athletes have been participating at the Open Graded Meets at Aberdeen Sports Village. So far there have been a number of indoor club records for Blair Milne (Long Jump), Joshua Milne (Shot Putt), Andrew Stoker (60m), Tom Jenkins (Shot Putt) Darrin Cameron (60m & High Jump), Gary Sweeney(Shot Putt), Brian Milne V50 (60m, Long Jump & Shot Putt) and Beth Grant (60m).
There is one more meet at Aberdeen Sports Vi;;age on Sunday20th March starting at 10am. This meet has triple jump, so we will see what Mark and the 4 lads will produce. This meet also includes 600m & 150m outdoor races. Ideal for u11 & u13.
Saturday April 9th is an Open Graded Meet at Inverness and all those who hope to compete on track this season are advised to go in order that they have times or distances to book their place in the team.
