Gordon Castle 10km – 20/05/2018

There were 14 MRRs ran in this event, which is part of a triple challenge.

The day dawned warm, it looked like it would be a shorts and vests type of run today.  As always your entry fee gets you into the Highland Games, so it is well worth entering this race.

The race started at 10am and it took a slightly different route to previous years but it is still a lovely place to run, you are running off road, up hills, down hills, up hills and it’s really enjoyable, if a bit warm.  The marshalls were all really friendly and cheered everyone on.

Everyone had a really good run and the race finished with all the male prizes being taken by MRRs.

Ryan Mclennan – 1st – 39:18

John Anderson – 2nd – 40:05

Martin Bain – 3rd and 1MV – 40:21

Stephen Carmichael – 4th – 41:28

Robert Bruce – 1st MSV – 44:49

Thanks to Spey Runners for organising an excellent event
