There was a great turnout of yellow vests at this year’s Loch Ness Marathon and Festival of Running. From the 5k to the Marathon itself there were excellent performances throughout the day. Morgan Lewis finished 3rd in the 5k and, in a high quality 10k field, Kenny Wilson smashed his PB when finishing 5th in 31.13. There were PBs for others including Claire Ross and Christopher Smith. Well done guys and to all our other 5k/10k runners.
8 MRR members took on the Marathon in excellent conditions. First home was Elspeth Jenkins in 3.22.53 which claimed 3rd V40. Sarah Houston was next in an outstanding time of 3.35.46 to win the V60 category. Well done to everyone else who took part. Time to enjoy a well earned rest.
