Benromach 10km 10/05/2014
The day of the 3rd and final 10km in The Northern Scot series dawned and it promised to be a wet one. Fortunately the weather behaved and it was a dry run, a bit warm at times with a reasonable breeze. There were 196 runners in the field with a good representation from MRRs.

The Ladies were led in by Birthday Girl Karen Norvell, during the race she was concerned that Helen Low may pass her, but she strategically “dropped” her head band, which Helen stopped to pick up, thus giving Karen the extra time needed to stay in front of Helen J

There were many PBs within this race, congratulations to all who competed. Sarah Houston and Sally Bruce both won a trophy within the whole series, Sally won hers by a second. The combined results for the series will be on the site as soon as they are produced.
