Culloden 10K and 17.46K
Steven Morrison and John-Paul Downey headed through to Culloden to take part in the Culloden 10K. It was a busy event with lots and lots of runners. Conditions were perfect, sun was out, a gentle breeze and not too cold.
The 17.46K started first, and Irina Thompson was the sole Moray Roadrunner taking part in that one. She set off with a smile on her face.
The 10K started 15 minutes later at 11 am. Steven and John-Paul headed off together and surprisingly stuck together the whole race. JP got a slight lead in the last half kilometre but Steven kept on his tail. JP finished in 9th place and Steven 10th. Both spoke of the big hill and windy conditions making it tough but they both enjoyed it.
Well done everyone.
