SCOTLAND’S biggest running event was at the heart of a spectacular sporting weekend with more than 30,000 people taking part in the Edinburgh Marathon Festival.
The 12th Edinburgh Marathon which welcomed runners from more than 100 countries set off from the city centre to take on the world’s fastest Marathon course.
Moray Road Runners were represented by 2 runners. Steve Reeve and Irina Thompson.
Steve completed the Marathon in 2:56:07, coming 96th Overall and 12th in his age category
Irina completed the Marathon in 4:07:29, coming 3841th Overall.
Well done to both runners a superb result.
