Glenmoray 10 miler & 10K
The Glen Moray 10/10 races were blessed with glorious weather although a bit breezy on the way out towards Cloves. 13 Moray Roadrunner members took part over the 2 races with Brian Milne, Sarah Houston, David Ingleby and Jim McWilliam tackling the 10k. Sarah picked up 2nd V50.
In the accompanying 10 miler, the yellow vests were prominent with 3 men in the top 7 and Louise Cartmell finishing 2nd in the ladies race in 66.36. Gareth Jenkins picked up 1st V40 in 58.48 with Stephen Carmichael (6th) just overcoming Ally Campbell (7th) in the final stages. There were solid performances also from Steven Morrison, Helen Low, Karen Norvell (PB) and Amanda Strang (PB).
Well done everybody and a particular thank you to the race organisers for putting on 2 great races on our doorstep. Look forward to seeing even more people taking part next year.
