Almost perfect running conditions greeted the field for the rescheduled Buckie 10k, newly joined as part of the Northern Scot 10k Series, a slight headwind being the main challenge for the 148 competitors.
A road based, undulating course that starts in the centre of Buckie and flings you out to Rathven, past the Golf Course and back along the harbour before a final tricky wee hill to the finish presented no problems to the ‘Yella’ turnout who managed an impressive collection of personal bests and fine runs.
Special mention to our own Kenny Wilson who managed an impressive run to finish 2 minutes clear for the field in 32:27
All in all a well organised race by Keith & District with a fine spread at the end ☺
