Six Moray Road Runners took part in the 2016 ‘Still Running’ Dufftown Jog Scotland 5k.
The conditions were excellent with warm temperatures and very little wind. After registration at the Royal British Legion we headed up to the start on Conval Street. There was a field of 27 with several walkers as well.
The first kilometre is uphill and on a stony path. This is followed by almost 2k downhill with the 4th kilometre being a long climb up the Dufftown main street before a zig zag round the houses to the finish. Most of the race is on tarmac. There was a water station at the half way point but as it was on the downhill I’m not sure how many runners managed to stop.

Neil had cycled up to Dufftown for the run and he was due to cycle back to Elgin as well. A truly impressive feat.
