Moray Road Runners held their annual Hangover run from Miltonduff Hall. There was a good showing of runners from various clubs and there was a choice of a 4.5 mile or a 7 mile run, runners soon sorted themselves into groups and off everyone set. The weather was looking doubtful and during the run we had rain, hail and some snow. Most runners got back just before the blizzard conditions hit but there were a few hardy ones still out that endured these conditions.
Once back in the hall there was hot drinks and some food. During this period of warming up and refueling Gareth did the presentations for Moray Road Runners Club Championships. He announced it in reverse order.

2nd – Sally Bruce 2nd – Ally Campbell
1st – Karen Norvell 1st – Kenny Wilson
When Sally heard her name that she was 2nd, she got up, let out a woop, woop, ran a loop of the hall, slapping everyone’s hand and then went up to Gareth, who then informed her that there was no prize for 2nd place, her petted lip came out and she walked dejected back to her seat ( I may have exaggerated her response for comic effect)
Congratulation to all who turned up for the run today and especially to Kenny and Karen for becoming Club Champions.
