A great turnout braved the icy conditions to take part in this year’s Mince Pie Relays with ‘Alasdair’s Santas’ combining raw speed and intelligence!!?? to solve the puzzle and claim victory – well done guys. A huge well done also to our junior prizewinners for 2014. It is always difficult to choose winners but taking into account performances, attitude to training, effort, teamwork and respect for others the following athletes were chosen:
U11 – Megan McKay and Finlay Downie
U13 – Niamh Whelan and Joshua Milne
U15 – Grace Whelan and Morgan Lewis
Endeavour Award – Tomas Coelho
Club Champion – Cameron Main
It has been a fantastic year once again for the juniors with some great performances at the Petrofac Athletics League as well as numerous medal winning performances at the Scottish Age Group Champs, North District Athletics Champs and North District XC Champs. Thank you as always to all the athletes, parents and coaches for their hard work and commitment throughout the year.
