Following 2 weeks warm weather training with the Scottish hammer squad in Portugal, Emma Bowie had a good start to her season throwing a new PB of 54.44m with the 3kg hammer at a very cold and windy Grangemouth.

Jack Mitchell also had a PB of 33.51m with his new heavier 5kg hammer in the same competition.
