The U14 were first up with Charlotte Bevan taking double gold for the 200m (pb) and 75m hurdles (pb). Grace Whelan was 6th in the 200m (pb) but took silver at her specialist event 800m (pb & CR). Andrew Stoker took 2 bronze medals in the 100m & 200m.
At U16 multi-eventer, Lauren Bell, had gold for high jump (pb & CR), silver at 100m and was 6th in the shot. Jack Mitchell won the hammer with a championship best performance throw.
The U18, our strongest age group with all the athletes at the top or close to top of the Scottish rankings, did very well. Emma Bowie had gold for the hammer, also a championship best performance. Dionne Milne had gold for discus and silver for shot putt. Callum Alexander took gold in his specialist event the javelin (pb & CR) and was 4th at the 100m and 5th in the 200m.
