It was another brilliant day as MRR once again hosted the North District XC Champs at a mild but muddy Gordonstoun.
Our juniors ran really well with a team silver for U13s Roger, Hugh and Jack. Lili picked up a team bronze medal running strongly for Gordonstoun School. A fine run for Darren claimed individual bronze and it was team bronze for Darren, Lewis and Cameron in the U15 race. Well done also to Al and William in a highly competitive U17 race.
There was a good showing of senior yellas with James finishing 4th overall and our team of James, Colin, Ryan, Ross, Gary and Scott taking team bronze. Katja was our first lady home finishing just outside the V40 medals.
Well done to all our runners and a big thank you to all the helpers from the Club, officials from Scottish Athletics, the team from the North District RR and XC Commission, Elgin ATC, Event First Aid Scotland and our venue hosts, Gordonstoun School.
