What a great end to the North District XC League as Forres played host to the final league fixture.
The weather was excellent but the Grant Park course was its usual mix of mud and hills proving a challenge for the runners.
In the Senior races there was an excellent turnout of yellow vests with Kenny Wilson once again leading the team home in 4th place. No fewer than 12 men took part ensuring the Club consolidated its team position, finishing the league in 2nd place overall.
There was a good turnout of females also with Juliet McBean our highest placed runner.
In the Junior races there were many impressive performances with another U15 victory for Grace Whelan and our U13 boys of Blair Milne (2nd), Joshua Milne (3rd) and James Newlands claiming 1st team on the day.
With a good turnout of U11 runners, it was a great way to end the ND league.
Thanks as always to the coaches, parents and Club Captains for rallying the troops throughout the season.
It was another fantastic season for the Club so a huge thank you to everyone who pulled on the yellow vest and represented MRR. You should all be very proud.
