Kinloss to Lossiemouth Half Marathon 23/02/2014
A strong tailwind and dry conditions ensured fast times aplenty at this year’s Kinloss to Lossiemouth Half Marathon. Gordon Lennox (Forres Harriers) and Jodie Lynch (Inverness Harriers) were the respective race winners in 70.41 and 83.01. Stephen Carmichael was the first MRR home finishing 9th overall and claiming 3rd Vet 40 in a PB of 80.06. Louise Cartmell also picked up a prize (3rd) in 88.30 – well done to you both.
Other yellow vests out on the course were Bill Murray (97.34), Graeme Morrison (101.55), Karen Norvell (102.22), Amanda Strang (112.07) and Jenni Coelho (125.34). There were some significant PBs in there so very well done. As always a huge thank you to the cadets, Inverness Radio Volunteers and everyone from MRR involved in organising the race and helping on the day.
