Once again the Lossiemouth Turkey Trot incorporated the North District 10 Mile Champs. Despite the forecast of wintry conditions, there was a quality field assembled to enjoy a welcome break in the weather albeit a tad windy. The winners of the Men’s and Ladies races and the North District Champions for 2014 were the Inverness Harriers duo of John Newsom (53.31) and Jenny Bannerman (59.25).
There were some excellent performances from the Club, none more so than Kenny Wilson who continued his rich vein of form to take championship silver. Well done to all the other runners – Paul Taylor, Stephen Carmichael, Colin Green, Michelle Donaldson Slater, Brian Milne, Karen Norvell, Toks Osinrunade, Sally Bruce, John Macgregor, David Ingleby, Sheelagh Smith and Karene Ferrier.
